Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) is welcoming The Cat’s Pajamas as part of its 2018-2019 National Touring Season! With no additional instruments other than their voices, The Cat's Pajamas captivates audiences with their high energy, charming personalities, and impressive showmanship. The Cat’s Pajamas takes a cappella to a whole new level.

The Cat's Pajamas are 5 high energy singers who create all the sounds of a band using only their voices.  The group was formed in 2005 by Brian Skinner whose passion and drive for performing and music production is the heartbeat (and drum beat) of The Cat's Pajamas. The original members had previously worked together in college groups at The University of Wisconsin such as the Wisconsin Singers and a cappella groups the MadHatters and Redefined.

After their first contract in college and original demo, The Cat's Pajamas were hired as guest entertainers by Norwegian Cruise Lines where they performed 40 weeks a year for three years, and quickly became their highest rated act.  They were also asked to sing as part of Oprah's Cruise of a Lifetime.

After perpetual cruising and touring on land, The Cat's Pajamas decided to move down to Branson, Missouri. Since the move they've been performing over 200 shows a year! The Cat's Pajamas reached millions of new viewers when they performed on NBC's hit show The Sing Off.  Recent appearances have included being hand-picked by the amazing Andy Williams to continue his legacy at his Moon River Theatre, performing nightly at Music City Centre Theater on the Branson's strip and headlining at Resorts Casino (a Mohegan Sun property) in Atlantic City, NJ. They were also chosen to be part of PBS' TV special "Doo Wop Generations" which aired nationwide in March of 2018. Most recently, The Cat's Pajamas were selected to sing on Broadway as part of an a cappella competition at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre after an evening performance of the hit musical Kinky Boots (at the time starring Wayne Brady, David Cook and Pentatonix' Kirstin Maldonado).

Come sing and dance the night away with The Cat’s Pajamas at Tecumseh Center for the Arts on Saturday, February 16 at 7:30 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Both concessions and the TCA bar will begin serving at 6:30 pm. Beer and wine are available. Sponsored in part by Martin’s Home Center and WLEN 103.9 FM, tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for seniors, youth and military members. Tickets can be purchased by phone at 517-423-6617, at the box office located at 400 N. Maumee Street, Tecumseh, Michigan, or on-line at www.thetca.org.
