The inaugural year of the TCA Street Art Trail brought art, beauty, creativity, encouragement, love, diversity, inclusion, and a sense of community to the theater, the outdoor space, and to the City of Tecumseh. We're looking forward to another year of the TCA Street Art Trail, with 33 new murals displayed on the TCA costume shed.
Tecumseh Center for the Art has completed the TCA Street Art Trail with 33 beautiful, newly painted murals created by artists of all ages and skill levels. The next phase of the Art/Music/Sculpture Park is The Mary Jo Mensing Sculpture Garden, to be installed next to the TCA Street Art Trail, created by members of our community! We are seeking artists interested in creating sculptures for the new area. Sculptures can be made from a variety materials and are not limited to a specific theme (sculptures cannot be derogatory in nature, or promote discrimination or division). Interested artists should complete this form and submit it to the TCA.
Sculptures must be completed and delivered to Tecumseh Center for the Arts by May 1, 2021.
The musicians of the Orchestra, and the vocalists of the Chorus come from all walks of life. Teachers, retirees, medical and business professionals, students, homemakers, and many other professions are represented within our membership. All have various musical backgrounds, from performing professionally to singing in the shower. There is one driving force that brings us all together, and that is the love of music...
New members are always welcome! Weekly rehearsals begin approximately 8-10 weeks before each concert.
