BIRDS OF A FEATHER
Kristin Schick
Picture
My sculpture is vertical, grouted mosaic "tubes," one tall on in the middle, surrounded by three shorter ones. I used stones and broken tiles to completely cover the tubes in abstract arrangements. I included my love of birds by putting a bird on each of the smaller pieces. The pieces are vertical grouted mosaics!

THE SUN AND THE SOWER
Ben Phillips and Stephanie Cochrane
Picture
As life is a process of sowing and reaping: planting seeds of knowledge, peace, empathy and love to pollinate, foster, cultivate, and later harvest...so is the Sower, outstretching his hand to earnestly let fall seeds to be sown, as he also reaches toward the light of life and growth, the sun. The bright, glowing brilliance of the sun brings vitality and strength, and also gives rise to enlightenment, beauty and flowering things of all kinds.

GOD's GIFT
Patricia Deere & Eric Ehinger
Picture
God's Gift is a collaboration between Eric Ehinger, a welder by trade, and Patricia Deere, stained glass artist.  The name for this garden gate comes from Pat's walks in her woods where Trillium grow wild.  The first Mother's Day in the woods she found the ground covered with these beautiful wildflowers blanketing the woods like a white carpet.  Because she was pregnant with her first born child, she has always considered the Trillium to be a gift to her from God on Mother's Day.  Bringing together the creative efforts of Eric as the welder and Pat as the glass artist results in this beautiful garden art.  Smaller Trillium surrounding the gate will be sold separately from the gate itself and can be added to any garden, bringing the same gift to you that she received.
