Tecumseh Pops Orchestra & Community Chorus is a non-profit organization designed to foster, promote and increase appreciation of music. This fabulous group of artists is led by Music Director & Orchestra Conductor Greg Smith, Chorus Conductor Hannah Sparrow, Concertmaster Mrs. Hollis Bauman, and Orchestra and Chorus Pianist Carolyn Dicks. The group’s spring concert will feature fun, energetic, and touching numbers from classic Broadway shows, including "Singing' in the Rain," "The Trolly Song," " You Made Me Love You," "Over The Rainbow," George & Ira Gershwin's "Embraceable You," "Corner of the Sky" from Pippin, Stephen Sondheim's "Being Alive" from Company, "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel, selections from Chicago, Les Miserables, Oklahoma and many more! Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors & youth. Tecumseh Pops and Community Chorus is part of Tecumseh Center for the Arts' Michigan Homegrown Project which was created to emphasize the importance of sharing the theater stage with local artistic groups while building lasting relationships between art organizations and the theater.
