They're back and it's going to be one wild ride! Lightwire Theater is returning to the TCA stage on Saturday, February 27, 2016. This time they'll be performing Moon Mouse: A Space Odyssey.
In 2012, Lightwire Theater was featured in America’s Got Talent (season 7) which launched them into the national spotlight. Since then, Lightwire Theater has been fortunate to travel internationally, sharing their unique brand of storytelling with audiences of all ages, cultures and backgrounds.
During the fall of 2014, Lightwire Theater had the opportunity to compete in truTV’s newest competition series, Fake Off. In addition, their holiday production, A Very Electric Christmas debuted on public television stations in select markets.
Come watch this year's performance featuring Marvin the mouse's adventure that will take him on a wild ride through the cosmos. Constantly bullied and picked on by the “cool” rats, Marvin is labeled as a loser and a geek. As respite from the continuous badgering, Marvin retreats into his science books and a world of fantasy. He longs to have adventures and to be the hero.
Join Marvin on the space adventure of a lifetime: a trip to the surface of the moon on his homemade rocket, where he meets a strange cast of misfit creatures, learns of infinite peril and views awesome beauty. Will Marvin make his dreams come true and experience the glory and acceptance he craves?
Tickets for this year's performance can be purchased online through out website at www.thetca.org, in person at our box office or over the phone by calling 517-423-6617.
