35th Season Ends, Drama Camp News & Black Box Summer Series

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It’s because of you that Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) has enjoyed another successful season. We greatly appreciate your support and cannot believe our 35th year is coming to an end.

Don’t worry if you weren’t able to attend one of this year’s shows, you still have time! We will close out our season on May 22, 2016, at 4 pm with the much beloved TCA Big Band & VocalAires Spring Concert “Love Notes”. Tickets are still available and it promises to be an amazing event as they perform hits from A & M Recording artists. So mark your calendars and call or stop by Tuesday-Friday from 12 noon to 5 pm to purchase your tickets at the Box Office. You can also buy tickets online at our recently updated website www.TheTCA.org.
 
Our season may be coming to a close, but summer fun is just getting started! Our Black Box Summer Series takes place the fourth Thursday of June, July and August. Enjoy hot talent in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. As always, we are featuring Pure Michigan Talent! This summer’s lineup includes an evening with the Tecumseh Players, and music by The Crossed Lines and Kylee Phillips. Remember, tickets are $10 per show or purchase the entire series for just $25; a $5 savings!
 
We’re also gearing up for our annual Summer Drama Camp, in partnership with Tecumseh Youth Theatre. Elementary Camp runs July 11 – 15, Middle School Camp is July 18 – 22, and High School Camp is July 25 - 29. Times are 9 am to 4 pm each day and the registration fee is $120 for the first student and $100 for each additional student in the same family. Campers always have a blast while learning acting and singing skills and techniques, as well as gaining knowledge of costuming, set design, lighting and sound. Registration begins June 1 and space is limited, so be sure to secure your child or grandchild’s space. Registration forms will be available online starting June 1.
