Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA) is celebrating Veterans Day by holding a free concert for the community in honor of local veterans and their families. The event is sponsored by the Elizabeth Ruthruff Wilson Foundation and will take place Saturday, November 5 at 12pm (noon). The event is free and open to the public.
Music will be provided by the 338th Army Band. The 338th USARC Band, with stations in Livonia, Michigan and Columbus, Ohio, provides music for military and public occasions throughout Ohio, Michigan and beyond. With groups that cover most genres of music, the band provides music of celebration and solemnity for many occasions. In addition to the 338th band performing we will also have a representative from Team Red, White and Blue’s Tecumseh Chapter. Donations will also be accepted in the TCA lobby for WLEN 103.9 fm’s Thank A Vet campaign. This annual fundraiser benefits Veterans of Lenawee County through the Veterans Dire Need Fund that LEAHC administers. To learn more about our free pre-Veterans Day Concert, which is open to the public, please call the TCA at 517.423.6617.
