The TCA Big Band & VocalAires will present their annual Holiday Concert, A Season of Giving, Sunday, December 15 at 4:00 p.m. at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA). Join us as we celebrate this special time of the year with festive holiday swing music. The sounds of Glenn Miller, Nat King Cole, and Duke Ellington-styled holiday and standard tunes, including Jingle Bells, Christmas Island, Let It Snow!, The Christmas Song, God Bless’ the Child, Adeste Fideles, and more will provide a toe-tapping, swinging time, sure to help you get in the spirit of the Season!
This truly is A Season of Giving as the TCA Big Band & VocalAires are proud to team up once again with our patrons and the Tecumseh Service Club by collecting non-perishable food and personal care items at the door to be distributed in Northeast Lenawee County. Since the band’s inception in 2004, our supporters have donated hundreds of pounds of canned goods, pasta, paper products, personal items, and more to local families. We would like to make this the best year yet, so if patrons would like to help by donating, they can bring items to the lobby area on the day of the show. The Service Club will gratefully accept monetary donations as well. Donated food, personal care items, and monetary donations will be delivered by the Tecumseh Service Club to families in need throughout the Tecumseh, Britton-Macon, Clinton, Ridgeway, and Tipton areas in time for Christmas. Tickets are now on sale for the Sunday, December 15th concert, and are only $10 each. They can be purchased by calling 517-423-6617, or by stopping by in person at the TCA Box Office, 400 N. Maumee, Tecumseh, between 12 p.m. (Noon) and 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and one hour before the show. Patrons may also purchase tickets online 24-hours a day, 7-days a week at www.theTCA.org.
