New York City Ballet and Hubbard Street Dance.

The Tecumseh Center for the Arts is joining forces with the Parks and Recreation Department and would
like to invite everyone to Kick Off the Weight. On Sunday, January 29 at 1:00 pm. "Kick Off the Weight"
is the official start event of the Third Annual Tecumseh Community Weight Loss Challenge.
Marci and Courtney Crozier, contestants from season 11 of television's The Biggest Loser will appear at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts on Jan. 29 and motivate everyone in attendance with their inspirational stories! Marci and Courtney have recently taken their own personal weight loss journeys and will share what they learned along the way. A light healthy lunch will be served, Marci and Courtney will spend some time speaking with people individually and everyone is encouraged to get moving with Jazzercise, Zumba and kickboxing demonstrations. ranching at the Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site. Participate
in an Indian Powwow and experience Indian culture. Trace the steps
of the Louis and Clark Expedition in Montana. Look for sapphires at
the Spokane Bar Sapphire Mine. Investigate the myths, legends and
reality of people who came west to help shape the future of this state.
Hike trails to sample the scenic wonders of Montana's wild areas.
Observe a wide range of wildlife and look closely at the flora for which
the state is famous. Take a tour through the "Gems of Montana" by
visiting Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. All of these and
more await you as we travel through the Big Sky Country of "Majestic
Montana".

This journey through South America & Central America gives the
viewer a sample of some of the great natural wonders, architectural
treasures, and cultural and artistic highlights of several cities and
countries. Here are inspired scenes from Santiago, Chile; Lima, Cuzco
& Machu Picchu in Peru; the Amazon; the Galapagos Islands; the
Panama Canal; San Juan and the National Parks of Costa Rica; and the
volcanoes and colonial cities of Nicaragua. This show is a beautiful
sampler of cathedrals, lively pedestrian streets, palaces and parks,
fascinating wildlife, tropical rainforests, and meetings with passionate
Latin Americans. Walk the Spanish Colonial streets of the capital
city, Santiago; marvel at the interior and exterior architecture of the
cathedrals and churches; enjoy a performance of prize Chilean horses
and their riders at a working ranch.

A musical trip around America's most exotic and musical state
- Louisiana - opens to the spirited strains of our own "Goodbye
Bayou"; "Louisiana you've always been good to me, Cypress trees and
Spanish moss and poetry." Beginning in the northern parishes, we'll
explore the reels and ballads, gospel songs and blues of the earliest
settlers. Visit cotton fields along the Red River Valley and stop in
Arcadia, where the outlaw couple, Bonnie and Clyde, were gunned
down. We'll pick a little bluegrass, learn the secret of good Bar-B-Que,
skin some deer, and go on an alligator hunt. We'll tell stories of north
Louisiana's old time recording stars, Lead Belly, Jesse "Baby Face"
Thomas, and the Taylor-Griggs Louisiana Melody Makers.
